Slammers Youth Program
The Slammers Youth Program provides a comprehensive, year-round development and training option for players ages 7–14. The Spring & Summer season runs from January through July. All program coaches and instructors are professionally hired and trained directly by Slammers staff.
Our goal is consistent, age-specific, and ability-based training for every player. This proven methodology has led to 95% of our high school players advancing to college or professional baseball. In the youth program, we emphasize bringing out each player's best in a healthy and efficient way, utilizing advanced techniques like kinematic sequencing.
Annually, we field 35-36 teams across age groups 8U to 14U (e.g., 36 teams in 2026), competing in in-state Majors, AAA, and Open Divisions. Teams typically participate in 12 tournaments per year, with 1 to 3 being out-of-state, depending on the team's level and age.
Part of being involved in our youth program allows access to our facility (field and tunnels) with no extra cost (depending on availability).

How Too Much Screen Time Affects Your Hitting Performance
Over 50% of teenagers spend 4+ hours a day on screens — fatiguing the same visual system that tracks a 400-millisecond pitch. Screen time degrades eye function, disrupts sleep, and slows reaction time. The habits no one sees are costing you at-bats.
The Science of Hitting for Power
Power doesn't come from swinging harder — it comes from physics. Learn how the kinetic chain, launch angle, and timing work together to produce exit velocities that turn routine fly balls into extra-base hits. The science is real, and every variable is trainable.
